Rita Eriksen (probably Norway's best femail vocalist) : "a wonderful voice" (referring to Soldier Joe)

Ante Giskeoedegaard (the Margarets) :" an album full of classics".

The title track "Soldier Joe" recently featured on UK national radio (BBC Radio 2) in addition to UK local radio stations, and 4 of the songs from the album have played regularly on Norwegian local radio.

The album features some of the very best musicians in the Aalesund area and has something for everyone, from the emotional ballad title track (Soldier Joe) to car-radio country-rock tracks like "Long time lover" to the almost unclassifiable "Last cowboy in town".
